Microphone Preamplifier FOCUSRITE RedNet MP8R
Specification
Description
Main features of the microphone preamplifier FOCUSRITE RedNet MP8R: 8-channel, microphone preamplifier with remote control capability and A/D interface for any Dante Audio-over-IP network; Sampling frequency up to 24-bit/192 kHz with very low latency; Excellent common-mode signal gain improves noise suppression occurring in the cable; Maximum input reference voltage of 28 dBu supports universal signal; AES67 support; Two IEC connectors and network connections with full power and network redundancy, including local connectors, for maximum reliability; Automatic gain compensation allows the second set of network transmitters to maintain signal level regardless of changes in analog gain. This simplifies the sharing of microphone preamplifiers in many situations; Remote control of gain, phantom power, and high-pass filter from Yamaha CL and Yamaha QL series consoles; 20 dB attenuation, high-pass filter, and polarity inversion for each input; 6-segment LED level indicators; OLED display shows input gain and system information; Advanced remote control capabilities and signal indicators from RedNet Control; Brainworx bx_console Focusrite — an exclusive plugin that accurately reproduces the sound, feel, and style of the original Focusrite ISA 110 Equaliser and Focusrite ISA 130 Dynamics modules.
FOCUSRITE RedNet MP8R — is a rack-mounted 8-channel microphone preamplifier with remote control capability and A/D interface for any Dante Audio-over-IP network. With network redundancy and a backup IEC connector, RedNet MP8R is the ideal choice for providing microphone preamplifiers in many critical situations.
FOCUSRITE RedNet MP8R was developed in response to requests from Live Sound and Broadcast users looking for high-quality microphone preamplifiers with remote control paired with a high-performance A/D converter. The result is a preamp with a high dynamic range, flat frequency response, and excellent common-mode signal gain. The unique automatic gain compensation facilitates a multitude of flexible workflows; each microphone preamplifier powers a pair of network transmitters: one directly, and the other — through automatically compensated DSP, making sharing the preamps very easy. Front panel indicators are shown using 6-segment LED indicators, and the OLED display shows input gain and other system information.
