Why is this important?

Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high output impedance. When using a cable, typically after 6 m, there is a loss of high frequencies in the signal, and this problem worsens with increased cable length. The buffer amplifies the signal to avoid tone loss, keeping it clean and full-bodied, even when the pedal is off.

ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, so you can confidently use long cables to connect your guitar to the tuner or when connecting the tuner to a pedalboard with many effect pedals.

The Pitchblack X has the option to switch between true bypass and ULTRA BUFFER according to your preferences and the environment in which you are working.

LED indicator provides the ability to adjust the bright mode for improved visibility
In addition to the enlarged display for better visibility, more LED indicators have been added. There are two levels of bright mode. Now you can be sure that the tuner display will be more visible in "low visibility" conditions, such as brightly lit stages or outdoors.

Ultra-high tuning accuracy up to ±0.1 cent
Pitchblack PB-X provides instrument tuning accuracy of up to ±0.1 cent in Strobe mode, which is ideal for performances or recording.

Four display modes
Choose one of four display modes according to your requirements. In addition to the standard "Regular" mode, you can use the "Strobe" or "Half Strobe" modes, where the tuner indicates changes in pitch with the direction and speed at which the pointer moves.

Built-in "fine tuning" indicator
Pitchblack X is equipped with a new "fine tuning" indicator, where triangular LEDs on both sides of the tuner start flashing when the note is tuned correctly, helping you tune your instrument without stress.
