Read moreSolar Guitars H2.6C represents a modern headless electric guitar from the Type H "Guillotine" series, designed to provide maximum mobility without compromising sound quality. The instrument is aimed at guitarists who need a compact guitar for travel while retaining full-stage and studio equipment characteristics. The model features a matte finish of Carbon Black and an ergonomic design that ensures comfortable playing in any position.
Construction Features and Multiscale
The guitar body, with a thickness of 45 mm, is made of basswood, providing the instrument with lightness and balanced resonance. The main technical feature of the model is its multiscale construction (24.75" – 25.5") with a fan fret layout. This solution optimizes the tension of each string, ensuring clarity of low notes and softness when performing bends on high strings, which is critically important for technically complex parts.
Neck and Fretboard Specification
The maple neck with a C Solar profile is bolted to the body and equipped with 24 jumbo frets made of nickel. The fretboard is made of purpleheart with a radius of 14 inches, promoting high playing speed. The headless design allows for tuning through a special Rear Tuning Multiscale bridge. For ease of navigation, white dots are located on the side of the neck, and on the 12th fret, there is a signature pearl inlay Solar.
Pickups and Electronics
The instrument is equipped with a pair of passive humbuckers Solar Modern High Output with Alnico V magnets, specially adapted for the multiscale construction. The pickups are mounted directly in the body to maximize vibration transfer. The control scheme includes a three-position switch, volume and tone potentiometers rated at 500k, allowing for flexible adjustment of the output signal from dense distortion to a clean articulated tone.
Solar H2.6C is a no-compromise instrument for guitarists who value ergonomics and functionality. The headless design and light weight make the model an ideal solution for touring musicians and frequent flights. The guitar comes with a high-quality branded case.
The instrument is designed for performing modern heavy music, progressive metal, and technical rock, where tuning accuracy and attack clarity are essential. Thanks to the multiscale and powerful Alnico V pickups, the guitar effectively handles both fast solo parts and massive riffs in lower tunings.
