Ibanez RG8527-BRE – is a professional 7-string electric guitar from the j.custom series, designed for technical playing, extended lower range, and precise control of the instrument. The model combines a thin Wizard-7 neck, an African mahogany body, a top made of select flamed maple, and a pair of DiMarzio PAF 7 passive humbuckers. The Lo-Pro Edge 7 tremolo allows for active lever use while maintaining tuning stability.

Technical features and materials:

• Mahogany body with a maple top: the body is made of African mahogany, while the top is made of 4mm select AAA Flamed Maple. This combination forms a dense sound foundation and highlights the natural wood grain.
• Fast neck: the 5-piece RG j.custom Wizard-7 neck is made of maple and wenge. The thin flat profile is designed for fast technical playing. The rosewood fingerboard has a radius of 430 mm.
• 24 Jumbo frets: the frets feature the signature j.custom fret edge treatment, which keeps the edges smooth and comfortable while moving the hand along the neck.
• DiMarzio pickups: a pair of passive DiMarzio PAF 7 humbuckers with ceramic magnets designed for 7-string guitars provides clear transmission of the lower register and a rounder character of the upper frequencies.
• Expanded switching: the 5-way switch allows for multiple coil combinations, including standard humbucker modes, parallel wiring, and a combination of inner coils.
• Lo-Pro Edge 7 tremolo: the low-profile system with micro-adjustment and locking nut is designed for tuning stability during active use of the lever.
• Gotoh hardware: the guitar is equipped with Gotoh tuners and Gotoh Strap Lock strap buttons. Luminlay side markers facilitate orientation on the neck in low stage lighting.
