Description
Welcoming another addition to the very successful AZ series, Ibanez proudly presents the AZES line or AZ Essentials. The philosophy behind it is to convey the sound, versatility, and playability of this famous line to a wider audience of beginners and intermediate players. However, the AZ Essentials instruments are also equipped with series-specific elements, such as a solid output jack, a 250 mm fingerboard radius, and comfortable round bridge saddles, which are designed to make the learning process optimized, enjoyable, and engaging.
For the body material of the electric guitar Ibanez AZES40-BK, poplar is used, which provides a well-balanced sound with incredible richness. The maple neck ensures stability and a bright tonal character. The rosewood fingerboard creates a rich midrange and clear highs.
The 250 mm fingerboard radius is not too flat, but not too rounded either, making it an excellent choice for beginners. It is a perfect golden mean that allows learning to play each note correctly while maintaining a high level of comfort.
Medium frets increase note accuracy. The special neck attachment to the body, Access Neck Joint, guarantees stunning playability in the upper register. The AZES guitars have a scale length of 25", which is ideal for children and shorter musicians. Moreover, this is sufficient for the player to continue growing as a guitarist along with AZES40-BK as they mature. The die-cast tuners provide dust protection and ease of tuning, while the special Split-shaft design simplifies the string changing process.
The output jack is made from durable material and has a solid construction to avoid unwanted movement and loosening, which can lead to malfunction or disconnection of contacts. This innovation ensures long-lasting enjoyment of playing and minimal maintenance.
The Essentials and Accord pickups provide a well-balanced sound and versatility, allowing guitarists to enjoy various music styles with just one instrument. The dyna-MIX 9 switching system with the Alter switch offers nine sound variations and can easily switch between humbucker and single modes using a mini-switch. One mode can even simulate a humbucker from a configuration of two singles.
The T106 tremolo bridge is equipped with newly designed comfortable round steel saddles. Its design provides a wider range of height adjustment and ease of tuning. Additionally, the screws are unlikely to protrude, reducing the strain on your right hand and increasing comfort while playing.
