As early as the 1960s, a fearless creative culture thrived in Southern California, and Leo Fender set out to create a fresh collection of acoustic instruments that reflected the innovative spirit embodied by the artists around him. In collaboration with legendary master Roger Rossmeisl, Leo released several unique acoustic models that captured the character that made Fender a symbol of the rock-and-roll revolution, including a player-friendly profile, neck shape, and radical style that changed the face of Fender Acoustics forever. Today's Fender Vintage models draw inspiration from the mid-20th century and feature a retro visual vibe, adding 21st-century performance and a rich, refined acoustic tone – a true modern alternative to the classic heritage of Fender.

The body size available is Malibu Concert, designed using the innovative Performance-X pattern, featuring a lightweight construction with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid ovangkol back and sides, allowing for easy reproduction of a bright, focused voice with exceptional nuances. An ergonomic modern V-shaped profile was chosen for the okoume neck, with a short 25-inch scale length for a warm tonal response. Other notable details include an ovangkol fingerboard with pearloid inlays for added retro style, vintage-style tuning pegs for smooth and accurate tuning, as well as a bone nut and saddle for excellent harmonic character. The Fishman pickup and Presys VT Plus amplifier system are equipped with seamless control elements installed in the soundhole, combining an under-saddle electric transducer and an internal body transducer, providing accurate and reliable reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amplifier or recording device. A vintage-style hard case is included.

Bold, attractive, and unique instruments from the Fender Vintage series do not compromise, combining outstanding style, great sound, and playability for those who seek to play something new.
