Description
Made in Canada
Maintaining the age-old tradition of versatility, Americana is a refreshed classic. It can best be described as a reliable instrument due to its durability and stability, as well as an exquisite guitar thanks to its high-quality tonal character and articulation. Ready for the stage and studio, it comes with additional electronics from Godin, including a built-in tuner, making it an ideal choice for musicians of any level.
Spruce and Canadian Cherry
The resonant body of the Art & Lutheries Americana with a solid and pressure-tested spruce top provides the appropriate sound and clearly defined high frequencies. Accordingly, the instrument produces clean sounds rich in overtones, with a clear attack and tonal separation, while natural woods in the form of Canadian wild cherry are used for the back and sides, filling the sound profile with central warmth. Thanks to the thin open-pore finish, the resonant body is not slowed down by any heavy lacquer and provides maximum possible acoustic brilliance across all ranges.
Fishman Presys II
The Presys II pickup system from Fishman is based on direct resonance transmission at the bridge using an under-saddle transducer and skillfully reproduces the dynamics of the musician's touch. In addition to a graphic 2-band equalizer for low and high frequencies, the system features a volume control for signal adjustment and a built-in tuner with a 7-segment display. Of course, the output signal can be used for recording as well as amplification with acoustic amplifiers in combination with effects devices.
