MARTIN AUDIO CDD6 is an ultra-compact two-way passive acoustic system designed to meet the demands for dynamic performance across the full frequency range in a small enclosure. With coaxial differential dispersion drivers of 6.5-inch LF and 1-inch HF, its extremely small size and sleek design make it ideal for visually unobtrusive applications. It can also be used in combination with larger models in the CDD series, and with the CSX subwoofer, it can reproduce incredibly high sound levels.

The Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology used in MARTIN AUDIO CDD6 B provides more stable coverage of the room than systems with fixed coverage patterns X° x Y° — projecting a more powerful output signal to the back of the audience while maintaining wide horizontal coverage. The innovative CDD driver allows summation of the “point sources” of the LF and HF sections, eliminating frequency response deviations off-axis associated with non-coaxial designs. Compared to traditional coaxial designs that may be affected by high-frequency radiation, the driver is equipped with a static waveguide that smoothly merges with the unique cone shape, supporting the dispersion pattern at very high frequencies.

The visually distinctive enclosure can be used in both horizontal and vertical orientation, with the driver rotation easily accomplished by removing the tool-less protective grille. The curved shape of the enclosure allows it to be installed close to a wall or ceiling using additional wall and ceiling mounts.

The fully functional passive two-way system MARTIN AUDIO CDD6B can be used with a compatible controller with appropriate limiter settings to ensure system protection. The equalizer and limiter of the controller, such as Martin Audio DX0.5, DX4.0, or iKON amplifier, will maximize its capabilities.

When used with the CSX subwoofer, crossover and equalizer functions can be performed using speaker processors DX0.5, DX4.0, or iKON amplifier.
